Fix Stop 0×000000A0 Internal_Power_Error in Windows 7

This error appears when your computer attempting to hibernate on Windows 7 or let computer enters hibernation mode. When error appears the operating system may stop halt with a Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) the following error message as technical information:

Error: “STOP 0×000000A0 INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR (0×0000000B, 0xXXXXXXXX, 0xXXXXXXXX, 0xXXXXXXXX”

The causes of the error is the size of the Hibernation file (hiberfil.sys), because the file is not large enough for the current memory contents can be loaded on the system. The system try to save or loading in RAM memory the data, and because is not enough space here, the system may stop halt with a Blue Screen of Death (BSoD).

To fix this problem, you should increase the memory size of hiberfile, and this can be done in this way:

Step 1: Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories;
Step 2: Right-click the Command Prompt and from the menu click Run as Administrator;
Step 3: In the Command Prompt window, type the following command and press ENTER:

powercfg /hibernate /size 100

Step 4: Type exit and press ENTER to close the command prompt window;
