If you need space, if you do not have a hard disk with a capacity of 1 terabyte hard drives, is much cheaper than the following steps to adjust your memory, this just in case you need more space, and this you can do through disable hibernation.

Hibernation basically writes your current system state to a non-volatile memory source, such as your primary HDD or SSD, allowing you to turn off your system and restore your progress at a later date.

This feature of the calculator is beneficial in the sense that when you start the computer in a state of hibernation, the latter starts faster than normal when you start.

How to Disable Hibernation in Windows 7 and Windows Vista

Step 1: Go to Start, then type cmd in the Start menu;

Step 2: Type powercfg.exe -h off and the press Enter key;

How to Disable Hibernation in Windows XP

In Windows XP you cannot disable the hibernation from cmd, and to disable the hibernation you should follow the next steps:

Step 1: Go to Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> Power Options -> Hibernate;

Step 2: Uncheck ‘Enable hibernation‘;

During the installation of the Windows 7, may appear this error messages:

Windows is unable to install to the selected location. Error: 0×80300024.

This error messages may appear because the Windows 7 RC system has problems with Grub (Linux) boot loader present or previously present on the system. And to fix this error you should run the Windows 7 setup do a FixMBR so Windows 7 can write a fresh bootloader.

The first solution that I find on the Internet to solve this error, is that you should change the BIOS settings to boot first from Disk 2, then booting Windows 7, and using EasyBCD.

I write an article about how you can perform a clean boot in Windows XP, and now I will write this article to show how you can perform a clean boot for Windows 7 and also Windows Vista.

You can apply for your computer a clean boot when appear error messages or you have other issues on your computer. To solve these issues, you can make a clean boot, and afterthat to fix the problems. When you make a clean boot, you start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, and these can help to eliminate software conflicts.

It’s true that when you start your computer in a clean boot, you can lose some functionality of your computer. When you start the computer as usual, the functionality returns.

Step 1: Perform a clean boot

A. Log on to the computer by using an account that has administrator rights;

B. Go to Start, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER;

C. The System Configuration Utility should be started;

D. Go to General tab and click Selective Startup, and then click to clear the Load startup items check box;

E. Go to Services tab, click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all;

F. Click OK, and then click Restart;

Step 2: Enable half of the services

A. Log on to the computer by using an account that has administrator rights;

B. Go to Start, type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER;

C. Go to Services tab, and then click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box;

D. Click to select half of the check boxes in the Service list;

E. Click OK, and then click Restart;

Step 3: Determine whether the problem returns

It’s possible that the problems still occurs, and you should repeat step 1 and also step 2, with a little difference for step 2. In step 2 you should click to clear half of the check boxes that you originally selected in the Service list.

If the problem does not occur, repeat step 1 and step 2. In step 2, select only half of the remaining check boxes that are cleared in the Service list. Repeat these steps until you have selected all the check boxes.

If only one service is selected in the Service list, and you still experience the problem, the selected service causes the problem. Go to step 6. If no service causes this problem, go to step 4.

Step 4: Enable half of the Startup items

A. Repeat here Step 1: Perform a clean boot;

B. Go to Startup tab, and then click to select half of the check boxes in the Startup Item list;

C. Click OK, and then click Restart;

Step 5: Determine whether the problem returns

It’s possible that the problems still occurs, and you should repeat step 1 and also step 4, with a little difference for step 4. In step 4, click to clear half of the check boxes that you originally selected in the Startup Item list.

If the problem does not occur, repeat step 1 and step 4. In step 4, select only half of the remaining check boxes that are cleared in the Startup Item list. Repeat these steps until you have selected all the check boxes.

If only one startup item is selected in the Startup Item list, and you still experience the problem, the startup item that is selected in the list is the service that is causing the problem. Go to step 6.

If no startup item causes this problem, a Microsoft service most likely causes the problem. To determine which Microsoft service may be causing the problem, repeat step 1 and step 2 without selecting the Hide all Microsoft services check box in either step.

Step 6: Resolve the problem

After you determine the startup item or the service that causes the problem, contact the program manufacturer to determine whether the problem can be resolved. Or, run the System Configuration Utility, and then click to clear the check box for the problem item.

Step 7: Reset the computer to start as usual

Sometimes you can have problems on Internet Explorer 8 with Google Toolbar, and the problem can be annoying. In this article you can read how you can solve this problem between Internet Explorer 8 and Google Toolbar.

This incompatibility appear because Internet Explorer 8 is in a special no-add-ons mode, and the incompatibility will cause Internet Explorer 8 to stop responding or crash.

To solve this problem, I have two solutions.

Solution 1: Update to the latest Google Toolbar

First solution to solve this incompatibility is to visit the Google Toolbar site to download and install the latest version of the Google Toolbar. This will resolve this issue.After you install the latest version of Google Toolbar, close the all Internet Explorer windows.

Solution 2: Disable the Google Toolbar

If you don’t want to use anymore the Google Toolbar, you should be disable.

Step 1: Close all the Internet Explorer windows;

Step 2: Open a new Internet Explorer windows- You will see a dialog informing you that the Google Toolbar add-on can cause Internet Explorer to crash or to stop responding;

Step 3: Click Always open Internet Explorer without this add-on;

After you do this, Internet Explorer 8 will not load the Google Toolbar when it starts.
